2011/2012 Snowboarding Season
On March 24, my snowboarding season came to a close, a month ahead of schedule (due to unseasonable temperatures in March and of course, a very low natural snow year). I ended the season with 95 days (all but one of those days were at Sugarbush), a far cry from my epic season last year of 120 days. Despite the number, I did have several riding milestones this year, one of them involved riding the woods for real for the first time. The other major milestone was always having people to ride with, thanks to the BLUE TEAM. I have to thank the entire Blue Team ensemble for everything this season. We definitely made the best of a crummy snow year. Thanks Ian, the Adams, Zack, Garrett, Tyler, the Ryans, Darren, Ali, and Julie, plus everyone else that I rode with. We assembled and conquered. Next year: I WILL DO SLIDE BROOK!!!!
